Well,
these method is very well known in Yoga. There are 2 rivers (nadi) in
our body (Ida and pingala) (actually there are three, the magic
number, susumna is the middle one, but hard to activate).
this is the excerpt from the web:
IDA NADI: According to tradition yoga, the breathing of the left
nostril is cold, called the channel through which passes Ida Nadi, the
channel of the Moon. It gives us the power of emotions in their pure
state, providing the qualities of great joy, pure love, compassion and
artistic abilities. . This is the more feminine side of men and women.
The typical problems on the left side are the emotional attachment,
depression, low self-esteem, guilt or lethargy.
PINGALA NADI: The yoga tradition says that breathing by the right
nostril is hot and designates this channel as Pingala Nadi, the
channel of the Sun. . It gives power to our rational mind, allowing us
to learn and obtain the necessary strength to overcome problems
through effort. . It is the male side of men and women. The typical
problems on the right side are selfish or violent behavior, arrogance
and pride.
The third one, Susumna Nadi ??
you know the answer

term will get side effect. So, why not try it out?
